Gerard Otten

Gerard Otten is a highly accomplished strategic, business and technology professional with extensive interna-tional experience in the financial services industry and the automotive sector.

He has operated at Board level of major global organisations. Over the last 9 years Gerard has focused on the changing regulatory environment including the implications of Basel II on the financial services sector.

Gerard has been instrumental in putting to-gether the blueprint for the operating platform of a new innovative insurance company of a major European financial institution, in particular its services centre architecture and the analysis and reduction of working capital as an integral part of the insurance company’s value proposition.

In the automotive sector Gerard has managed CRM initiatives, Shared Services Centre designs and large international programs like Euro and Y2K. Gerard has managed consulting firms responsible for designing, building and running ICT based solutions for the Financial Services Industry and the Automotive Practice.

Prior to that Gerard had a long career consulting to global compa-nies in Europe, Asia and the US. He has been involved in a number of complex organizational transformation and global change management initiatives with specific skills, around people, culture and process management. Gerard has gained hands on experience in turning around organisations gained through various assignments and working for major organisations in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific.

  • Designed and implemented common data models for risk management and fulfillment processes; implemented STP functionality.
